U.P. Rehab Services is pleased to announce that Sara Edlebeck, DPT, Physical Therapist has joined their team and is accepting new patients at the new U.P. Rehab Services-Iron Mountain-Kingsford Clinic.
"This is a new clinic for U.P. Rehab Services and we are excited to be a part of the Iron Mountain-Kingsford community. Sara brings with her experience in treating outpatient and inpatient orthopedics and is a well respected Physical Therapist in Dickinson County," said Russ Tripp, CEO of U.P. Rehab Services.
Sara grew up in Kingsford and earned her doctorate degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee. Having worked in the Iron Mountain-Kingsford area for a number of years, she is striving to provide patients of her local community the highest level of evidence-based care in the area. In her career, Sara has worked in many different environments including outpatient clinics, hospitals, inpatient units and nursing homes.
Sara's knowledge extends into outpatient orthopedics and injury prevention; dynamic spine care (cervical, thoracic, lumbar and sacral regions); headaches; manual and manipulative therapy; and post-operative rehab. She also has experience in the treatment of urinary incontinence, soft-tissue restrictions such as with post-mastectomy, and pre/post-partum back pain.
The Marquette-based company is owned and managed by therapists living in the U.P. and currently provides rehabilitation services in eight Upper Peninsula counties in a variety of medical settings. It is this broad scope of services that has helped U.P. Rehab attract and retain qualified therapists - a major accomplishment in the current environment that includes a national shortage in physical therapists.
Sara Edlebeck, DPT, is the Clinical Director of the U.P. Rehab Services-Iron Mountain clinic located at 700 River Avenue, Suite B. If you would like more information about U.P. Rehab Services, please call the Iron Mountain clinic at 906-776-9003 or the U.P. Rehab Services corporate office at 906-225-5044.
